Value Chain Analysis
The CASPL team has extensive expertise in the value chain analysis of agriculture, horticulture and livestock value chains. The team is continuously involved in developing strategy for identification of different component of value chain and qualitative and quantitative analysis.
The team has done VCA of different agriculture commodities and livestock value chains in South Asian region. The findings of VCA were used by the partners in developing strategies for improvement of the respective sectors.
Monitoring and Evaluation
We have expertise in Monitoring and evaluation projects. CASPL team has been analyzing the projects using different tools involved in monitoring and evaluation, baseline studies, mid line and end line review of project and impact assessment.
The team is also involved in impact assessment of development initiatives to demonstrate success and advocate changes in policy at national and international level.
For improving the ground level situation in agriculture sector there is great need to strengthen the existing institutions and build their capacity for competing in the market.
The team has vast experience in assessing, designing and developing framework of farmer’s organization (farmer’s producer organization, self-help groups etc.).
Team is involved in strengthening grass root farmer’s institutions through capacity building, market linkages and innovative business solution.
Project design is very important for optimum utilization of resources, conducting assessment and determining sustainability of the project.
CASPL team is involved in preparation of techno economic feasibility report (TEFR) and detailed project report (DPR) for the proposed intervention.
The team has provided input to a number of donors and clients for project design which is based on sound research and understanding of the issue.
The team is continuously involved in designing the tools and strategies for impact assessment . We are adept at developing case studies for documenting best practices followed by some communities on the ground related to agriculture and livestock sector. The organization works with different media partners for sharing best practices with the target audience. We frequently use Computer Assisted Personal Interviewing method for data collection.
